A few in number,
Followed his sent message given,
Yet, stubbornness and the going- astray,
Continued with those who followed their forefathers' ways'.
And Allah-Almighty, did say,
" And we sent unto thee,
A she camel, among the Thamud people,
As a clear sign given. "
But they planned to betray that of,
Allah's gift,
To slaughter her,
When Salih took to his prayers',
To prove to themselves',
That of their wordily -shares'.
And the she camel,
Was a blessed gift,
Unto that of milk, it did give.
Ten -fold, of a normal production,
So they plotted against its' destruction.
The Camel slept away from the flocks',
A sure sign that she was a miracle given,
For no -other animal did sleep away from their herds',
So they declared to slaughter her.
When Salih did turn away,
For a few moments' given.
Their hatred of Salih,
Turned towards' the Camel given,
And they centered upon it,
As a conspiracy, they started to conspire,
As they Secretly plotted,
To kill, what they had been given.
Salih being that from prophetic lines',
Saw the sure signs',
From slight indications' given,
That his people,
Out of jealousy given,
Might kill that of God's Camel given.
" O, My people ",
He did say,
"This she-camel sent,
Is a miracle given,
A sure sign,
Sent unto you,
From the huge rock,
That set it's self asunder,
So leave it to feed on the grass,
Of Allah's Earth,
And do not partake in evil,
Towards' her in anyway,
Least Allah strike you down , today ".
For a while,
They heeded to Salih's advice,
They let her graze upon the maze,
And drink freely from the Earthly springs',
But in their hearts',
Their hatred did increase,
Towards' this miracle given,
The disbelievers',
Began complaining,
They started a plight of ridicule,
Claiming that she did drink,
Most of their waters' given,
And she frightened their flocks from their grazing pastures',
So they began to conspire.
They sought help from their women folk,
To tempt some, from among their men,
To help carry out the slaughter plot,
A woman named Saduq,
A girl-child( female-offspring; ), RAISED, from the family of,
Mahya,
Whose descent was from that of a rich family given,
Nobility was their title given,
Took her adornments' and filtered them through,
Persuasion betook that of Masra'i,
A son of Mahraj.
The woman betook of her beauty,
To that of Masra'i,
On the promise that,
He would ham-string the she Camel given.
Aniza, an old woman,
Offered one of her beautiful daughters',
As a prize to a young man from among the tribe,
Qudar, the son of, Saluf,
In the return, that he would slaughter, the She Camel sent,
So we can see,
Their hatred and spite,
Had increased towards' Allah's signs', given,
And the people conspired,
To rid the tribe,
To continue with that of their forefathers' pride.
So these young men,
Who had been subtly- bribed,
Went out to find others',
To partake,
In their crime,
Seven other men,
Did they sought to assit,
With the ham-stringing of the Camel's dish.
They gathered together,
As they sat back,
To watch closely the Camel,
Observing her,
From morning towards' the night,
Masra'i, took his arrow,
Bending his bow,
He struck her in her leg,
As she tried her best,
To scamper away,
But the arrow did hamper and she was delayed.
Qudar, followed the Camel,
And struck her with his sword,
In the other leg,
And as she fell towards' her death,
Qudar, took his sword and struck her with one more fatal blow,
And death from her wounds'
Did soon follow.
When their deed was done,
A hero's welcome,
Did follow,
With that of cheers' and songs',
And poetry composed,
In their praise,
Of the slaughter,
And the end of the She-Camel days',
In their arrogance,
They started to mock that of Salih's ways',
So he ordained for them to continue for a few more days',
Three more days', before a punishment will desend,
Upon them,
Hoping that in those three days',
Some from among them,
Would return towards' that of Allah's ways'.
" Why three days' ",
They did reply,
" Let God's punishment descend upon us,
As quickly as possible. "
As laughter betook,
He did say,
" Why my people,
Do you ask,
For the evil torment to descend,
Before you partake,
In God given ways'.
Ask for your pardon,
So that God will condone his mercy upon you ? ".
And they replied,
" Your presents' here,
And that of your followers',
Is of an evil dentity,
Bringing that of evil upon us,
We do not wish to listen to your ridiculous-disgust.
So they continued with their laughter,
Without hush.
To be continued.
