Abraham and Linage : Part 1

The people of the book,
Lay claim to Abraham's,
Linage-line,
As so to define,
His forefathers' line.

Tarikh; who was seventy-five-years old,
He had that of three healthy-sons'.
Abraham, Nohour and Haran,
Haran, on becoming a man,
Produced a son named that of Lot, (or,lut).

The people of the book,
Made the claim,
Abraham was that of the middle child,
And his brother Lot, died at a young age,
In the time of his father's days'.

In the land of Babylonia,
Idol-worship, was very well-understood.
Of stone carvings' and that of wood.
Other people of the town,
Worshiped the planetary-systems',
Of the stars',
And others' would lay God-Given-Claims',
To their rulers'-wordily-games'.

Abraham came from birth,
Into the Earth,
Born into this land,
Of idolatry-stand,

His father and fathers'-line,
Was not simple in their worship-shrines',
They rejected all of Allah's -written -lines',
And his father was a man,
Who used to erect for the people of his time,
That of worshipping-idolatry-shrines'.

There are a few,
Mis-printed facts',
About that of who raised Abraham in his growing-up, tracks',
Others' of that day,
Recorded that Azer was his uncle,
Who adopted him at birth,
Because his father had died before the day,
The mother of Abraham,
Gave-way, to a prophetic -birth,
Upon the Earth,
Abraham.

Into the line of those who worshiped-idolatry-shrines',
Abraham was born,
A written-godly-code,
To stand-up against the very system,
Of his communities'-beliefs',
And in his struggle,
He did of his day,
Stand-up to all kinds' of polytheistic-ways'.

He was unusual from amongst the people of those days',
He understood spiritual-ways',
From a very early day,
Allah enlightened his heart and mind,
And gave him wisdom,
From early-years' and days',
And Allah, Al-mighty, stated,

"And verily, we did bestow on Abraham,
Before, back in time,
His portion of guidance, he understood,
And We were well-acquainted with him,
As to his belief in the oneness of God,
Allah-Almighty. "

To be continued.
